Alaptageen Abdul Qayyum is a Pakistani economist and communication specialist currently based in Rome, Italy. His work focuses on agrifood economics, sustainable development and strategic communication, particularly supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1 and 2. He also advocates for gender equality and inclusive development through policy-oriented communication, research dissemination and social media engagement in international development contexts.
