Meet Aoife

Founding Chief Executive Officer 

Aoife Meehan is Step Forward Global Initiative’s Founding Chief Executive Officer. She started her career as a grassroots women’s advisor in Mali with the United States Peace Corps. Committed to public service at the global level, she worked with Vital Voices Global Partnership, the New York City Mayor’s Office for International Affairs, UNICEF, and the United Nations Secretariat. Aoife holds a bachelor's degree from Brown University, a Juris Doctor from Fordham Law in International Law, Foreign Policy, and Human Rights, and a Master of International Affairs from the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership.
