Perri's work is centered around the conviction that when women and girls have agency — over their health, their futures, and the decisions that govern their lives — profound social progress is possible. It's why she is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Step Forward Global Initiative.

Over more than 25 years in global health and philanthropy — from implementing HIV, maternal and child health programs across Africa, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean to leading a $250M family planning and gender equality initiative at the Gates Foundation — she is recognized for her ability to build high-trust partnerships and movements that accelerate and sustain impact. She is the Founder & Principal of Terrain Studio, a philanthropic advisory practice that helps funders and field-builders turn bold ambition into investments that catalyze change.

She holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington.
