Ella Bayer is a researcher and former lab manager based in New York City, where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics. Having entered the mapping field via aquatic ecology, she employs data science techniques to transform complex datasets into clear, accessible maps and visualizations. Outside of work, she enjoys knitting, metalsmithing, and otherwise crafting things by hand.
