Christine Drazan
Christine Drazan is a nominee for governor of Oregon in the November 3, 2026, election. She is currently an Oregon state senator, representing District 26. Born and raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Drazan attended George Fox University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. Her background includes work in Oregon legislative politics and community service, and she has also served on local public bodies, including the Clackamas County Planning Commission. Before entering the state Senate, Drazan worked as a nonprofit management consultant and held several leadership roles in the Oregon House, including House Republican leader and chief of staff to Republican House leadership. Her campaign has centered on making Oregon safer, more affordable, and more “functional,” with an emphasis on public safety, education, housing costs, taxes, and homelessness.
