LaNicia Duke

LaNicia Duke is a candidate for governor of Oregon in the 2026 election, set to take place on November 3, 2026. She has called Oregon home for more than a decade and has spent that time working alongside communities across the state, especially in rural Oregon. Duke is the founder of Humble Beginnings, an organization that sheds light on Black communities that live and thrive in rural Oregon. and has worked with Community Action Resource Enterprises, fostering a focus on grassroots service and community support. Her campaign has emphasized housing, healthcare, government efficiency and putting people “above” politics.
