Danielle Ford

Danielle Ford is a candidate for governor of Nevada, with the election scheduled for November 3, 2026. A Las Vegas native, Ford has built a career in education advocacy, marketing, and public leadership. She previously served on the Clark County School District Board of Trustees and was elected to the Nevada State Board of Education in 2023. She has spoken publicly of  dropping out of high school as a teenager, and later earning credentials in beauty and skincare before building a career in marketing and community organizing. In her campaign, Ford has emphasized education reform, transparency in government, and giving “everyday Nevadans” a stronger voice in state decisions.

Alison Handel, SFGI Intern

A Los Angeles-native, Alison moved to New York to attend NYU where she studied international development and documentary filmmaking. After graduating, she was awarded a Fulbright grant to research migration patterns during the Brazilian Belle Epoque in Manaus, Brazil. She is currently pursuing a dual Master's of International Affairs/Juris Doctor degree with the Colin Powell School and CUNY Law.
