Sarah Huckabee Sanders

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the incumbent governor of Arkansas, seeking reelection in the 2026 midterms. Born in Hope, Arkansas, Sanders graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2004 with a degree in political science. Before becoming governor in January 2023, she worked as a political strategist and commentator and served as White House press secretary for President Donald Trump from 2017 to 2019. In office, Sanders has emphasized school choice, education reform, public safety, tax cuts, and efforts to streamline state government, with pledges to maintain this platform in her second term. Elections will take place on Tuesday, November 3.

A Los Angeles-native, Alison moved to New York to attend NYU where she studied international development and documentary filmmaking. After graduating, she was awarded a Fulbright grant to research migration patterns during the Brazilian Belle Epoque in Manaus, Brazil. She is currently pursuing a dual Master's of International Affairs/Juris Doctor degree with the Colin Powell School and CUNY Law.
