Stacy Garrity, state treasurer for Pennsylvania, is a nominee for governor in the 2026 election. She was born in Athens, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Bloomsburg–Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. Before assuming elected office, Garrity served in the U.S. Army Reserve and built a career in the private sector, including senior roles at a defense manufacturer. She was elected Pennsylvania treasurer in 2020 and won reelection in 2024. In the governor’s race, her campaign has focused on limiting taxes, streamlining efficiency, maintaining public accountability, and fostering economic growth. Elections will take place on Tuesday, November 3.

A Los Angeles-native, Alison moved to New York to attend NYU where she studied international development and documentary filmmaking. After graduating, she was awarded a Fulbright grant to research migration patterns during the Brazilian Belle Epoque in Manaus, Brazil. She is currently pursuing a dual Master's of International Affairs/Juris Doctor degree with the Colin Powell School and CUNY Law.
